Original 1970 US one sheet film poster for the theatrical re-release of the 1940, Walt Disney classic -Fantasia.

The iconic, animated Walt Disney masterpiece was originally released in 1940. This US one sheet from the film's re-release in 1970 andshows how the marketing strategy was changing, embracing the psychedelic 'flower power' times of the late '60s and early '70s.

Second time round, the film actually generated enough revenue to finally make the film profitable for the Disney Corporation - it only took 30 years!

This is an original poster; printed on a glossy paper-stock and folded as expected for the period. Typically, there is some wear along the fold-lines and a small slit at the top of the poster. The poster has also been cropped slightly along the right edge (probably to tidy up damage) so the border isn't perfectly symmetrical and the poster is also slightly narrower than a full one-sheet. Generally though the colours remain vibrant and the poster displays well.

It has been professionally framed using conservation grade backing paper and is ready to hang.
